IoT device management platform

A custom IoT device management platform for every unit you ship.

We build the cloud side of your product: registering devices at the factory, tracking who owns them, collecting telemetry, alerting your team and pushing firmware updates safely to the whole fleet.

When you need your own device platform.

No idea where units are

Devices leave the factory and nobody knows which are active, who owns them or which firmware they run.

Updates mean recalls

A firmware bug means shipping devices back instead of fixing them over the air.

Support works blind

Your support team can't see a device's history when a customer calls.

Off-the-shelf doesn't fit

Generic IoT platforms charge per device and don't match your lifecycle or business rules.

What's included

  • Device claiming, ownership and transfer
  • Fleet dashboard by type, status and firmware
  • Telemetry, logs and alerts
  • OTA firmware rollout with stages and rollback
  • Installer and support tools
  • Role-based access for your team

How we test

Built to stay correct at fleet scale.

Lifecycle checks

Registered, claimed, transferred and deactivated states always add up.

Rollout rehearsals

Updates go to a test group first, with automatic halt if failure rates rise.

Load testing

Message volume tested beyond your launch fleet size.

Access reviews

Every role checked so customers, installers and staff see only what they should.

IoT device management platform: common questions.

Book a 20-min call
Why build a custom platform instead of using AWS IoT or another off-the-shelf tool?

We often use cloud IoT services underneath. The custom part is your lifecycle, ownership rules, dashboards and support tools, which generic platforms don't model and charge per device for.

Can OTA updates brick devices?

Not when they're done properly. We use signed images, a fallback slot on the device and staged rollouts that stop automatically if failures rise.

How much does a device management platform cost?

A fleet platform with dashboards, OTA and support tools typically starts from $45,000. Smaller scopes are possible; the Scoping Sprint fixes the price.

Who owns the cloud account and data?

You do. The platform runs in your cloud account, and your data never sits in ours.
