Security & IP
Security, GDPR & IP.
What your IT, legal or procurement team will ask. Send us your vendor questionnaire and we'll fill it in.
Your IP and code
- All code, designs and documents are assigned to you as they are created.
- Repositories live in your GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket organisation from day one.
- Mutual NDA signed before you share specifications, schematics or data.
- No reuse of your product-specific code in other projects.
Data protection & GDPR
- Data processing agreement (DPA) available for every client project.
- Production data is hosted in your own cloud account, in the region you choose: EU (e.g. Frankfurt), US or UAE.
- We work with test data wherever possible; production data access is time-limited and logged.
- Personal data minimised by design, with deletion and export built into the systems we deliver.
Access control
- Least-privilege access to your cloud, repositories and tools, granted per engineer.
- Two-factor authentication required on every account we use for your project.
- Secrets stored in a secrets manager, never in code or chat.
- All access removed at handover, with a written confirmation.
Secure engineering
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for databases and file storage.
- Code review on every change and automated dependency vulnerability checks.
- Signed firmware and over-the-air updates with rollback for connected devices.
- Rate limiting, input validation and audit logs in the APIs we build.
AI usage
- We use AI tools to speed up engineering, never with your confidential data unless you approve it in writing.
- AI features we build for you use providers and data settings you approve, with no training on your data.
Incidents & continuity
- Security incidents affecting your project are reported to you within 24 hours of discovery.
- Backups and restore procedures documented in every handover.
- Documentation and credentials handed over at each milestone, so you're never dependent on us.
